DROP IN CENTERS (DICs)
Drop in Centers are the first referral points for ensuring PLHIV to receive information and access services. These centers are managed by the Registered Networks of Positive People to provide correct information on drug adherence, education on positive living and positive prevention, identification skill and organize related training for economical development, organize various meetings to provide moral support and improve the quality of life of PLHIV.
 
In the State, there about 36 Drop-in Centers, in which 05 Drop-in Centers are exclusively for Women. These centers are closely linked with ART Centers, Community Care Centers and Integrated Counseling and testing Centers.
 
The main activities of the Drop-in Centers are as follows:-
Red ribbon Provide sustainable counseling and support services to Drop-in Center visitors.
Red ribbon Organize Support Group meetings.
Red ribbon Organize Advocacy meetings.
Red ribbon Organize Advisory Committee meeting.
Red ribbon Get-together programmes.
Red ribbon Linkage with Care & Support service providers.
Red ribbon Linkage with Government schemes.
